Detailing Best Practices

Found this great walkthrough for detailing. Will edit post with comments after I get a chance to dig in.
Update: Took first read through, spent last few days detailing without this information.
Key Note: Whether you finalize as a Hybrid or complete "over-detailing" trace of the model, be very careful during the process. Set the 'Display Model' parameter to Halftone while creating detail so you always know when you are touching the model. When complete, either set to 'Normal' or 'Do not display' depending on the method you are using.

  1. Update: Always, always use your properties dialog and Filter button, check what you have selected at EVERY MOVE! Know what you move and what you delete. Live detailing is great when you follow the rules. Don't have that roof element "disappear" on you.
